Typically, a logo's design is for immediate recognition, inspiring trust, admiration, loyalty and an implied superiority.
The logo is one aspect of a company's commercial brand, or economic entity, and its shapes, colors, fonts, and images usually are different from others in a similar market. Logos are also used to identify organizations and other non-commercial entities.

What about the forgotten design?
Did your last PowerPoint presentation represent your company as well as you would have liked? A well put together presentation should work on big screens whilst being presented to a room full of people just as well as it would be presented to a single individual on a laptop.
Did your stationary provider supply you with an email-able version of your letterhead? Do all your reports, quotes, and emails that you send out to clients contain that extra something that sets you apart from your competitors?
All these sometimes forgotten branding points add up over the course of a year and can make the difference between a sale and someone else getting the contract. |
